How to get a job in New Zealand

Oct 07, 2019 | by kiwiadmin

Kia ora,

If you are looking for a job before you arrive in New Zealand or if you are already in New Zealand and are actively looking for a job, you may want to subscribe to the following job sites and look for jobs posted by accredited employer's.

Here is one opening for Nurses. Please register on nz.indeed.com and apply on the link.

Bupa - Unit Co-ordinator, Wellington

You can also upload your profile and create a job alert for "accredited employer" to recieve emails. Here are a few openings for friends in the IT industry with an awesome organisation - Xero.

Product Owner - Xero Product, Wellington

Solution Architect - Technology at Xero

Here is one from Westpac for Quality Engineers -

Quality Engineer - Senior Test Automation Engineer

Flex Careers is a great site for Flexi roles if you are already in New Zealand https://www.flexcareers.co.nz/

Neuvoo is another site worth trying - https://neuvoo.co.nz/

New Kiwis - Great site with plenty of information about New Zealand, Employment laws, CV's, Tips and tricks and most importantly jobs.

Here is a great one for a Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Solution Architect. Please don't forget to recommend this to your friends if you feel this role is meant for them.

The other 2 most famous ones are ofcourse - seek.co.nz and Trademejobs.

All the best and please do remember that hiring activity is generally lesser as we are nearing Nov/Dec.

It picks up again around Feb/Mar/April but that should not stop you from applying for jobs.

Cheers,

Kiwi Fern
